Chrismon Tree Service at Breaston Methodist Church – a Very Special Service

The congregation started with a bare Christmas tree and decorated it with home-made Chrismons (decorations). During the service we were given an explanation of the Christian significance of each of the Chrismons. The singing of some great Christmas Carols added to the wonderful atmosphere in a service where we welcomed people from several groups who had made the Chrismons. The tree will be on display at our services including the carol service at 10:30am on Sunday 18 December.

The Breaston Methodist Church Carol service is a joyous occasion where we sing both contemporary and traditional carols. With the traditional Bible readings reminding us of the story of Jesus's birth.

The Christmas Day service is a happy event where all the family can celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour.
